Now doesn't Miss Acuvue, look like a star? Well, that's because she is.
Okay, I sound like an advert. Haha I still don't know why she still finds all the photos I took of her that day, unacceptable because she thought she looked unglam in all the photos. Honey, you're wrong! I think she looked especially pretty that day.
Anyway, caught up with Colleen, Bern and DK that day. We watched C performed her sexy salsa dance for the first time @ NUS and then chilled out at a restaurant nearby within her campus area. It was a good catch-up session since it has been quite awhile and it made me realised how much each of us has changed as an individual due to experiences, good or bad. I must say we're more like, umm, adults now... which we pretty much are, of course.
Also, Had a great day with my Baby Jee a few days back after our school! Tried the cupcakes at PiqueNique and let me warn you, don't be fooled by it's fluffy, delightful and pretty appearance. It's not as tasty as it looks. I'd say Malak Oink's red velvet cupcake > 12 Cupcakes' > PiqueNique's. She owned them, hands down. Oh and if you don't believe me, let me tell you why it isn't as great as what you may think :
1. It costs $5.15 per cupcake.
2. For just ONE cupcake, they placed it nicely in the decorated box AND a pretty carrier to go with. Not that I'm complaining because I appreciate the packaging but I think it's not worth it for the cupcake alone UNLESS you decided to take-out. For the box and bag.
In conclusion, I think the cupcake's worth $2 and the packaging products the other $3.15. I think I love the packaging more than the cupcake. Okay, if I go any further and if they come across this space, they'd hate me for life for losing some business. Lucky for them, I'm not some popular person / star /artist or whatever but but but that's just the cold hard truth yo. Hahahaha.
Well, I thought that day would satisfy my long-lived craving for a red velvet cupcake but I guess not. I need another one!
